    Defines criteria for exchange of data relating to bare semiconductor die, with or without connection structures, and minimally packaged semiconductor die. Recommendations for general industry good practice in use of the above is also covered A Device Data Exchange (DDX) format is introduced, with the aim of facilitating transferral of geometric data between manufacturer and CAD/CAE user. (ES 59008-6 defines the format used for data exchange).
