    Defines the performance criteria for compact clinical electrical thermometers with maximum device (predictive and non-predictive). Applicable to devices that provide a digital indication of temperature, and are powered by an internal supply when taking temperatures. Not applicable to thermometers intended to measure skin temperature or for clinical electrical thermometers for continuous measurement.
