    La présente Norme Particulière spécifie des exigences de sécurité et de performance essentielle pour un SYSTEME D'ANESTHÉSIE (tel que défini en 2.101.7) ainsi que pour les dispositifs individuels destinés à être utilisés dans un SYSTEME D'ANESTHÉSIE. La présente Norme Particulière ne s'applique pas: aux SYSTEMES D'ANESTHÉSIE destinés à être utilisés avec des agents anesthésiques inflammables, tel que déterminé en Annexe DD; aux SYSTEMES D'ANESTHÉSIE portables destinés à être utilisés dans des sites éloignés, sur le terrain pour les opérations de sauvetage ou dans des zones sinistrées; aux appareils d'analgésie dentaire.
