    La présente Norme européenne prescrit les exigences relatives aux semelles simples et profilées et aux goujons libres utilisés dans les échafaudages de service et d'étaiement à tubes de 48,3 mm de diamètre: matériaux; exigences de conception; modes opératoires d'essai; évaluation. Les semelles à réglage vertical, désignées "socles réglables", sont traitées dans l'EN 12811-1.
