1.1 Purpose The criteria defined herein shall be utilized by an ISO/IEC 17025 Accreditation Body (AB) to establish conformance with AS6171 Test Methods Standard; General Requirements, Suspect/Counterfeit, Electrical, Electronic, and Electromechanical Parts and associated AS6171 Test Methods requested/included on the scope of accreditation. 1.2 Application This document shall be used during ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation assessments of Test Laboratories under AS6171 General Requirements document. The document should be used by a Test Laboratory for evaluation of sub-contracting organizations involved in testing of Electrical, Electronic and Electromechanical (EEE) parts in accordance with AS6171.
