Abstract - (Show below) - (Hide below)

This publication is a compendium of the following documents: - I.S. ISO 31000:2009, Risk Management principles and guidelines; - Additional national guidance on implementing ISO 31000; - I.S. ISO Guide 73:2009, Risk Management vocabulary. The national guidance in SWIFT 31000 provides additional information to the guidance given in I.S. ISO 31000 to help users develop and implement risk management in their organizations. In relevant sections SWIFT 31000 provides information on how to implement risk management, outlining some methods and techniques that can be used as well as possible outcomes to guide the user in what to expect at each stage. The outcomes listed in the national guidance are not exhaustive and are provided as guidance only. The aim is to help the user to better distinguish what needs to be done in the different sections of the standard particularly in the case of risk management framework 4.0 and process 5.0.
