    1.1This test method covers the equipment and procedures used for determining the types and amounts of coke carbon forms and associated recognizable coal- and process-derived textural components in metallurgical coke in terms of volume percent. This test method does not include coke structural components such as coke pores, coke wall dimensions, or other structural associations.

    1.2The values stated in SI units are to be regarded as standard. No other units of measurement are included in this standard.
