    Scope This section of IEC 598-2 specifies requirements for recessed luminares for use with tungsten filament, tubular fluorescent and other discharge lamps on supply voltage not exceeding 1000 V. This section does not cover air-handling luminaires. This section does not apply to air-handling or liquid-cooled luminaires.
