It supersedes the previous edition published in 1995 as CAN/CSA-E384-14-1 (adopted CEI/IEC 384-14-1:1993). For brevity, this Standard will be referred to as \"CAN/CSA-E60384-14-1\" throughout. This Standard is intended to be used in conjunction with CAN/CSA-E60384-14:09, Fixed capacitors for use in electronic equipment - Part 14: Sectional specification: Fixed capacitors for electromagnetic interference suppression and connection to the supply mains (adopted IEC 60384-14:2005, with Canadian deviations). Scope It should be read in conjunction with IEC 60384-1 and IEC 60384-14. This standard forms Part 14-1 of IEC 60384, which is published under the general title Fixed capacitors for use in electronic equipment.
