    1.1 These requirements cover nonelectrical refrigerant-containing components and accessories, intended for field installation in accordance with the Safety Code for Mechanical Refrigeration, ASHRAE 15, in refrigeration systems, air conditioning equipment, or both, charged with the refrigerants identified for use in the component or accessory.
