    Defines a laboratory procedure for measurement of impact noise transmission through floors by means of a standard tapping machine. Applies both to bare floors and to those with coverings. The results can be used for comparison of the impact sound insulation properties of floors and for classification of floors in accordance with their sound insulation capabilities.
