Abstract - (Show below) - (Hide below)

Describes requirements for unplasticized polyvinyl chloride pipe and fittings for the construction of gravity drains and sewers. For pipe and fittings with sizes 110 and 160. Exposed fittings may be made alternatively of olefin plastics. For use with untreated trade waste or prolonged discharges at high temperatures. Covers definitions, materials, appearance, dimensions, physical properties, performance requirements, marking, test for the impact resistance of polyolefin fittings, resistance to diametric distortion at joints, resistance to angular deflection, resistance to combined temperature cycling and external loading, resistance to elevated temperature cycling, for water seal, resistance to surface loading and guidance on quality control testing. Includes several tables of dimensions.
