    Diese Norm legt ein Verfahren zur Bestimmung des Flammpunktes im geschlossenen Tiegel von Beschichtungsstoffen (einschliesslich wasserverdünnbarer Beschichtungsstoffe), Bindemitteln für Beschichtungsstoffe, Klebstoffen, Lösemitteln, Mineralölerzeugnissen und verwandten Produkten für den Bereich zwischen -30 grad C und 300 grad C fest. Wird der Detektor eingesetzt, so kann diese Norm auch für die Bestimmung der Flammpunkte von Fettsäure-Methylestern (FAME) herangezogen werden.
