Defines the Geography Markup Language (GML) as XML encoding in compliance with ISO 19118 (published in South Africa as an identical adoption under the designation SANS 19118) that sets requirements for the transport and storage of geographic information modelled in accordance with the conceptual modelling framework used in the ISO 19100 series and that includes both the spatial and non-spatial properties of geographic features.
