Abstract - (Show below) - (Hide below)

This standard applies to the HIPERLAN/2 air interface with the specifications of layer 1 (physical layer), following the ISO-OSI model. HIPERLAN/2 is confined to only the radio access system consisting of the physical (PHY) layer and DLC layer, which are core network independent, and the core network specific Convergence sublayers. Defines the radio aspects like channel coding, interleaving, scrambling, modulation, radio transmission and reception.
