This ANSI/UL 1313 new edition includes the following changes in requirements:

• Clarify general requirements in Section 3

• Update references to ASTM standards

• Revise UV test methods in Section 26.3 to reflect updated practice

These requirements cover nonmetallic safety cans that have nominal capacities of 5 Imperial gallons (22.7 L) or less and that are primarily intended to store and handle fuel oil, gasoline, kerosene.
