This standard specifies the design characteristics, physic-chemical, mechanical and hydraulic which shall comply with sanitary tapware. This standard also covers the control of these features as well as marking the fittings. This standard applies to the sanitary tapware, designed to be installed in the premises of personal care (services, bathrooms, etc.) and kitchens. Tapware intended for special uses are not included. This standard applies to any type of coating besides the electrolytic Ni-Cr, subject to the UNE 19709 (EN 248). Applied to the sanitary appliances used in the conditions of pressure and temperature specified in Table 1.
