This standard applies to adaptors for a.c. only, with or without earthing contact, with a rated voltage of 250 V and a rated current not exceeding 16 A, for the connection of plugs for Class I and Class II devices, having the following rated currents: 2,5 A, 10 A and 16 A, as specified in their Standard Sheets, intended for household and similar purposes, either indoors or outdoors. This standard does not apply to adaptors for temporal use.
