Abstract - (Show below) - (Hide below)

Applicable to high efficiency particulate and ultra low penetration air filters (HEPA and ULPA) used for ventilation and air conditioning, together with technical processes, such as for clean room technology or applications in the nuclear and pharmaceutical industry. Determines a method for defining the efficiency based on a particle counting method using a liquid test aerosol, and permits a standardized classification of these filters in terms of their efficiency.
