This document specifies the procedure for planning and executing rail reprofiling work, including the description of rail surface defects. This affects both work on the open track, as well as on switches and crossings, usually carried out with machines according to the standards EN 14033 and EN 15746. The standard applies to Vignole rails of 46 kg / m or more according to EN 13674-1
