This document specifies a wavelength-dispersive X-ray fluorescence test method (WDXRF) for the determination of the sulphur content from 5 mg/kg to 20 mg/kg in ethanol fuel (E85) [3] with an ethanol content of 50 % (V/V) to 85 % (V/V), using instruments with either monochromatic or polychromatic excitation conditions.
