This document specifies the following: (a) the scope of application for mechanically adjustable mixers for use in type 1 water supply installations (see Figure 1); (b) the dimensions, tightness, compressive strength, hydraulic properties, mechanical strength, durability, corrosion resistance of the surface of the product, the sequence of tests and the noise behaviour to which sanitary fittings, including their components (flexible hose, pull-out spray), must comply, if applicable; (c) the test methods to demonstrate those requirements.
