This document specifies requirements for the classification of solid wire electrodes, cored wire electrodes and wire-powder combinations (pure weld metal) in the weld state and after heat post-treatment for submerged arc welding of high-strength steels with a minimum yield strength above 500 MPa or a minimum tensile strength above 570 MPa.
