This document specifies requirements for the classification of rods, wires and weld metal in the welded state and after heat treatment (PWHT, post-weld heat-treated) for tungsten inert gas welding of unalloyed steels and fine-grained steels with a minimum yield strength of up to 500 MPa or a minimum tensile strength of up to 570 MPa.
