A Withdrawn Standard is one, which is removed from sale, and its unique number can no longer be used. The Standard can be withdrawn and not replaced, or it can be withdrawn and replaced by a Standard with a different number.

This CID covers the requirements for typewriter hand oilers. The oiler shall be of cold-rolled steel. The oiler shall consist essentially of a body, a washer, a threaded removable spout, and a spout cover or spout cap. Shape of the oiler shall be style 1, oval; style 2, cylindrical; or style 3, hemispherical, as specified in the contract or order.
