This CID describes lubricating oils meeting the American Petroleum Institute (API) SH performance category, SAE-J300, and the International Lubricant Standardization and Approval Committee (ISLAC) GF-1 Standard, and bearing the API Certification Mark (starburst symbol) in accordance with API 1509. These oils are suitable for the lubrication of spark-ignition, gasoline consuming engines used in administrative type, commercial vehicles.
