This Commercial Item Description (CID) covers a portable, self contained, electrically powered lubricating unit. This unit supplies grease of viscous lubricant with high load carrying capacity for a temperature range of -80°F to +250°F. The grease is intended for use on bearings (roller, ball, and needle), gears, and on sliding and rolling surfaces. Usage includes equipment such as: instruments, cameras, electronic gear, aircraft gears and control systems, actuator screws, and equipment recommended by the manufacturer that requires this lubricant.
