This commercial item description (CID) covers two sizes of conical traffic markers used in the maintenance of traffic control systems. The 18-inch (457 millimetre (mm) markers are used primarily when painting traffic lines in order to keep cars off the wet paint. The 28- inch (711 mm) markers are used primarily for blocking off any type of area where construction work is being done.
