Defines tests for demonstrating that the circuit breaker testing conforms with the ratings assigned to it according to ANSI C37.06 when applied to indoor alternating current medium voltage circuit breakers rated in excess of 1000 volts, to be used as removable elements in metal-enclosed switchgear assemblies according to clause 2.1.9.3. of ANSI/IEEE C37.20.2. Not applicable to installations exclusively controlled by electric utilities for communication purposes, or metering or for generating, controlling, transforming, transmitting and distributing of electric energy in buildings for the exclusive use of utilities for such purposes, or on property loaned or leased by the utility or on public highways.
