Gives results of a technical survey of the hydrogeologic characteristics of 400 sites throughout the United States. Statistical distribution are provided for the properties of hydraulic conductivity, seepage velocity, vertical penetration depth into saturated zone, hydraulic gradient, saturated thickness of aquifer, and depth to top of the water table. Twelve hydrogeologic settings are derived from the DRASTIC system and the properties of each are summarized.
