AN EXPOSURE ASSESSMENT FOR MARKETING AND MARINE DISTRIBUTION WORKERS IN THE PETROLEUM INDUSTRY WITH POTENTIAL EXPOSURE TO GASOLINE
31-12-1999
12-01-2013
Occupational exposure to gasoline vapors is determined by job task, worksite characteristics and composition of products handled. Provides a rationale and methodology to estimate historic marketing and marine distribution worker exposures to gasoline, application of methods to a workers' cohort and how to classify groups with substantially different exposure histories to gasoline. Two models - the source receptor model and the time-weighted-average model - are used to identify workplace factors on composition and intensity of worker exposure.
