Defines the special qualities of film, 16 mm and over, to be designated on the silver halide, dye transfer, raw and processed stock, and magnetically coated perforated film, but not magnetic tapes for audio, video, digital or instrumentation use. The classification is in terms of ignition time, burning time and nitrate nitrogen content, and tests for these properties are described. A quick field test is also given.
