This standard describes a method of testing wood-to-wood adhesives for resistance to long-term tensile shear using deadweights. It is applicable to close-contact and gap-filling adhesives. Tests are carried out at one of two specified temperatures. The behaviour of the adhesive is evaluated by the time required for the joint to stand up under the load or by mutual displacement of the two adherends.
