Specifies the essential electrical properties of linearly polarized antennas for domestic use within the frequency range 30 MHz to 1 GHz and the conditions and methods of measurement of electrical performance parameters for these antennas and methods or procedures for relevant environmental tests. Uniform presentation of antenna performance specifications and a standard format for individual antenna specification sheets are also discussed. The Standard is technically identical with IEC 597 Parts 1 to 4 except for the mechanical properties included in Part 1 of the Standard.
