The Supplement specifies the requirements for the design, construction and operation of LP Gas storage and dispensing facilities located at automotive retail sites where LP Gas is sold to the public as a motor vehicle fuel. It applies to above-ground storage tanks of up to 16 000 L and underground storage tanks of up to 65 000 L capacity. Also provides land use controls for various defined uses and nominates the key elements of a safety management system.

This Supplement specifies the requirements for the design, construction and operation of LP Gas storage and dispensing facilities located at automotive retail sites where LP Gas is sold to the public as a motor vehicle fuel.It addresses facilities comprising-(a) single above-ground storage tanks of up to 16 000 L capacity; and(b) single underground storage tanks of up to 65 000 L capacity.NOTE: Storages above this size would be the subject of specific approval, although all general technical principles and controls would be applicable.
