Applies to one-piece and two-piece type rectangular culverts used for conveying water not under pressure and for carrying highway vehicle loadings, installed with the top under a height of fill not exceeding 1600 mm inclusive of pavement if any. Materials, dimensions and tolerances, marking, inspection and testing are specified, with test procedures in appendices.
