Specifies properties in terms of Orton pyrometic cone equivalent, and permanent linear change on reheating of machine-made bricks classified as low, medium, high or super duty. Tolerances on nominal dimensions are given, and tests for properties and dimensions are prescribed by cross-reference to AS 1618 and 1619.
