Specifies particular requirements for a Type B restraint system for child occupants of motor vehicles intended for children from 8 kg to 18 kg mass. The Standard is to be read in conjunction with AS 1754.1-1989 and will supersede (in part) AS 1754-1975 at a date to be decided.
