This specification applies to all types of pedal bicycles other than competition or on-of-a-kind bicycles and those having a wheelbase less than 640mm, whether the bicycles are primarily designed for children under the age of 16 years or for adults. Dimensions are specified where these relate to the safe use of a bicycle. The specification applies to bicycles supplied in the completely assembled, partially assembled or completely disassembled state.
