Describes procedures for the testing of expanding admixtures or premixed materials containing an expanding admixture.

This standard describes procedures for testing samples of expanding admixtures or premixed materials containing an expanding admixture for use in specific work. The tests may be based on arbitrary stipulations, which make standardized testing possible, but which are not intended to reproduce job conditions, or tests may be carried out under conditions similar to those occurring on the job.NOTE: Information on the uses of expanding admixtures is given in Clause 3 of SAA MP20.
