Describes a general method for the instrumental analysis of fat in whole milk using a turbidimetric technique and which stipulates measures for the preparation of samples for testing instrument calibration and the procedure for operation. An appendix describes the detailed determination using the Foss 'Milko' Tester Mark III and provision exists for the addition of further appendices as other instruments gain acceptance.
