Sets out a method for use where the free carbon dioxide is in the range of 1 mg/L to 100 mg/L. As carbon dioxide may also be present in a chemically combined form as carbonates or bicarbonates, an appendix gives a procedure for determining the total carbon dioxide from the concentration in all forms.
