Provides guidance for the safe storage and handling of pesticides in warehouses, stores and depots. Classification, labelling and identification requirements of pesticides are described and advice is included on storage installations, fire precautions, protection of personnel and operating procedures including the eventual disposal of wastes.

This standard sets out requirements, procedures and precautions designed to promote safety of persons and property associated with the storage and handling of pesticides. It does not deal with the use of pesticides.
