Specifies, in conjunction with AS 2547.1.1 and AS 2547.2.1, terminology and letter symbols, essential ratings and characteristics and basic measuring methods for interface integrated circuits such as line circuits, sense amplifiers, memory drivers, level shifters and voltage comparators, linear and non-linear analogue-to-digital and digital-to- analogue converters. It is identical to IEC 748-4.
