This Standard specifies requirements for pressure-sensitive adhesive (PSA) labels for general purpose use, and includes requirements for labels converted from paper and plastic label stock.NOTES:1 Pressure-sensitive adhesive (PSA) labels are sometimes known as a 'self-adhesive label' or 'label'.2 Specific requirements for label stock used in producing labels are specified in AS 2666 and AS 2776.3 Purchasing guidelines are provided in Appendix A.
