Specifies requirements for the embossed characters on identification cards. The embossed characters are intended for transfer of data either by the use of an imprinter or by visual or machine reading. Two annexes contain details of the 7B print specifications and the printed image of the 7B font. (Identical with ISO 7811-1 except for an additional annex which recommends the 7B font.)
