This Standard sets out methods for sampling and testing superfine wool sale lots comprising three bales or less and the consequent issue of a test certificate of yield and fineness. It is applicable to the top lines of recognized Australian superfine clips, since such lots are recognized by the wool industry as unsuitable for the application of sampling methods used on all other wool lots.NOTE: At least 300 g of core sample is required to carry out a yield test.
