This Standard specifies requirements for the design, manufacture, and testing of drawbars and connecting links for use with conveyances in underground vertical mine shafts.General requirements are specified in AS 3637.1. Methods for the determination of permissible imperfections in components are given in Appendix B. Guidelines for the design of chase blocks are given in Appendix A. Guidelines for the design of threaded components are given in Appendix C.
