This Standard specifies the general requirements for visual grading of hardwood and softwood intended for the specific products for which grades are defined in the other parts of this series. These general requirements apply at the time of grading.NOTES;1 Guidance on means for demonstrating compliance with this Standard is given in Appendix A.2 Information on the natural durability of timber species is given in Appendix B.
