Provides producers and users of natural round treated hardwood corbels, girders and stringers with requirements for the visual grading of such timbers intended for use in structures.

This Standard sets out the minimum requirements for natural round treated hardwood corbels, girders and stringers intended primarily for use in heavy engineering projects (e.g., bridges, wharves and large timber-framed buildings). These minimum requirements apply at the time of grading.This Standard does not cover requirements for strength and dimensions.NOTES:1 Requirements for strength and dimensions should be specified separately.2 Purchasing guidelines are given in Appendix A.
